1. PRICES

All prices are subject to change without notice and subject to a delivery fee specified at the time of order. The price payable for the goods ordered is the price shown on our website at the time of order. The customer will be informed of the total price of the order prior to proceeding with the purchase. If there are any price changes before delivery then the customer will have the option to cancel their order and receive a refund.

Every effort is made to ensure that the correct prices are displayed on our website, however a clerical error, or an omission may occur. If we discover that an error has been made in the quoted price, we will contact the customer to confirm this. The customer will be given the opportunity to cancel the order or to re-confirm the order at the correct price. If we are unable to make contact with the customer, the order will be treated as cancelled. Website prices may be different to our shop prices.

We reserve the right to adjust our prices at anytime.

2. ORDERS

Web Orders may be placed 24/7 (See Section 5. for delivery details). We endure to process all orders as quickly as possible usually within 2 – 3 working days from the receipt of order, unless items are out of stock (During busy periods it could take up to 5-7 days). If an item is out of stock we will contact you as soon as possible to offer you an alternative or a refund, for this reason it is important you give us a correct phone number or email address. Confirmation of any telephone instructions should be clearly marked as such, otherwise any additional expense incurred as a result of duplication of orders will be payable by the buyer.

3. PAYMENTS

All payments are in UK Pounds Sterling (£). We accept payment through PayPal. All payments are to be made prior to dispatch. You do not need to be registered with PayPal.

4. CANCELLATION

The customer has the right to cancel any order placed on this website within 1 working day from the actual time and date of order placement.

Refunds will only be made on the credit or debit card that was originally used to complete the transaction. All refunds will be made within 30 days.

Acceptance of cancellation of an order after 1 working day shall be at the discretion of the company and any such acceptance may be subject to payment by the buyer of a cancellation charge, representing the company`s administrative costs involved.

All returns must follow the company`s procedure as specified in the returns section.

5. DELIVERY

Delivery dates and times are given in good faith by the company to indicate estimated delivery times but shall not amount to any contractual obligation to deliver at a time stated and is subject to payment clearance, locality, human error, courier company error and or a system failure. The company will accept no liability for direct or consequential loss or damage arising from delay in delivery or if the customer is not in to sign for the delivery. If there is a significant change to the agreed delivery date then the customer shall have the right to cancel the order and receive a full refund of the amount paid. 

UK MAINLAND: Delivery charges are:

We use Royal Mail 2nd class Signed For (occasionally 1st class Signed For) post for all parcels below 2Kgs.  All parcels above 2 Kgs and under 4 Kgs will be sent by a courier company at an agreed rate of £4.00 per consignment. Any parcels weighing above 4 Kgs an additional surcharge charge will apply (To Be Agreed Prior to Dispatch). 

For International, Scottish Highlands and Offshore Islands delivery charges please contact us for prices.

A Signature is required for all deliveries, therefore if you are not at home to receive a postal delivery, it may be collected from your local post office.

Any amendment to delivery instructions can only be accepted before the goods are dispatched. If you expect to be away from home please give a delivery address where someone will be home, a work address or neighbours address or leave a safe instruction.

We cannot be held responsible for any redelivery costs if the customer gives incorrect delivery information at time of order. The customer must ensure that they give the correct shipping address whilst ordering as this will be the address used to despatch the goods.

6. DAMAGE OR LOSS IN TRANSIT 

Any damage to goods in transit should be notified to the carriers immediately and to the company within 24hrs of receipt. Any external damage to the package should by notified to the delivery driver at sight. All complaints will be dealt with on an individual basis and are to be made by email (info@jonnybiltong.co.uk) or telephone (07590 996953) within 24 hours of receipt, giving full details of the condition of goods and packing. (Additional photographs of any damage will be appreciated). Claims and complaints made after a 24 hour period may not be entertained.

7. REFUND POLICY & RETURNS

We endeavour at all times to ensure that our products are of the highest quality. However if your dissatisfied with our product please let us know and we will gladly arrange a refund for you. Do not throw away the product that you deem as faulty, send the product back to us, and we will arrange a redelivery/refund. 

Please contact us by email at info@jonnybiltong.co.uk giving us as much detailed information as possible with regard to the condition of the goods within 24 hours of receipt of your order.

We will do our utmost to respond to your complaint within 24 hours and replace any faulty product within a reasonable time frame, subject to stock availability. 

The product must be returned to us in its original condition, unopened with all seals intact. (However if we have to pay for return postage this will be deducted from your refund). We will only accept the return of opened items if they are faulty. Failure to notify us within this time frame will void our guarantee. Delivery charges are not included in any refund policy and the customer is responsible for the costs of returning any goods, unless otherwise decided by Jonny Biltong & Bacon Company.

PRIVACY POLICY & GDPR

We will only store your contact information for delivery and accounting purposes. We will not share this information with any third party and it will only be used to contact you in the event that you require a response or information from us. It will not be used for marketing purposes. This information can be deleted at any time upon request.
